Centre Daily Time Story – Aaron’s Hometown Paper
I sent the CDT a “news tip” and was pleased they contacted me to do a story. Was fun to think of people I know back home picking up the paper and seeing the story.
Marcia’s Story: Love, Loss, Hope, Birth and Crazy Coincidences
Marcia Jacobs, mother of Emily, who was conceived with Aaron’s sperm, recently wrote this lovely article for ParentMap about her incredible journey as a parent. We recently had a fun dinner at a hibachi place in Tacoma with Marcia and Emily, though Emily was a little tired by the end.
On German TV
A crew from German TV station RTL came to film us a few weeks ago. While we had a fun day, this was the most staged appearance we’ve done. They had me give flowers to Jess, had us hold hands at a restaurant, had us all go rollerblading (for 10 minutes – it was a nice day for winter – we wanted to skate more!), had me look pensively out to sea, etc. I suspect the result is pretty cornball, but my German isn’t so good. They filmed us all day, so we were surprised the piece was so short.
KIRO Radio Interview
Rachel Belle had us into the KIRO studio for a taped interview. While we were a bit tired that day and suffering from interview fatigue, she did a nice job of perking us up and telling our story.
